David Rodriguez's decorative dome

What we loved

This dome was certainly unique due to its very small size, even though David used our regular hubs instead of the mini ones. It's great to see how people get creative with our kits in terms of design, utility, and size.

dome details

Purpose:
David's dome served as a decorational piece for his space. He specialises in wooden creations and stick craftsmen, so wanted to give building with hubs a go!

2v or 3v:
2v

Size:
60cm diameter. Struts were 15mm in diameter

Additional Parts:

David used no additional parts, other than hooks to hang his creation on the ceiling.

Inspiration:
David's dome was inspired by the harmony, as he specified how much he loves domes.

"I like the kit very much. It was fun mounting the dome. You could add a center finder for the round struts"

     David

    David's tip:

"Patience, it takes longer than one might think but it is fun to mount."

Thanks to David for sharing details of their project, it’s great to see our dome kits being used in such creative ways.
